(08:00) Salinas – The City of Salinas is scheduled to host its 3rd Forbes Agtech Summit meeting this morning. Some of the main topics at today’s meeting include: How to feed a growing population and how farms can optimize their manpower in a time when immigration crackdowns and rising minimum wages are affecting the way farms hire. More than 600 people in the agriculture industry have teamed up with Silicon Valley to address these topics. The Forbes Agtech Summit meeting will begin at 9:45 this morning.
