(06:50) Salinas – A Salinas man will be sentenced to 15 years in prison for a shooting in Chinatown. 20-year-old Noe Chavez shot a man and other homeless people in Chinatown after an argument last February. Chavez plead no contest to two counts of attempted murder. Chavez admitted to enhancements for the personal use of a firearm and personally inflicting great bodily injury. No one was killed. Chavez is expected to be sentenced on September 6, 2017.
