A man was transported to Natividad Medical Center In Salinas tonight. That after he was shot while outside a room at the Motel 6 on Kern Street. Another man was detained on Madeira Street in connection with that shooting. This was the 2nd shooting in Salinas in 2 days. The first victim was a 16 year-old girl, who was shot while driving a vehicle on Terrace Street. Anyone with information about either shooting is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
