(07:50) Salinas – A Salinas woman was sentenced to serve 5 years and 8 months in prison for violation of her probation conditions, after she was found guilty for sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy. 53 year-old Annette Banda pleaded guilty to felony lewd acts and unlawful sexual intercourse against a child in March of 2014. Banda had a sexual relationship with the boy for nearly 4 years. Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies performed a probation compliance search of Banda’s Salinas home in December 2016, and found that she violated her probation terms. During a court hearing yesterday a judge sentenced Banda to serve 5 years and 8 months in prison.
