Santa Cruz has made its city hall property at 810 Center street unavailable to homeless people wanting to sleep there. City administrators Tuesday made the grounds closed to the public nights after 6 pm weekdays and all weekend. they changed the properties designation from an open-access “park” to office grounds. Reasons cited for the changes include complaints about people (homeless) being increasingly more aggressive towards city workers and the public.
