A 4 year-old boy was hit and killed this evening in Salinas. The accident occurred while the boy was riding scooters with his 6 year-old sibling in the mobile home park where the 2 lived. The 45 year-old licensed, insured, driver stayed at the scene, and did not appear to have committed any crime.
Anyone with any information about the 6:25 p.m. Monday night accident on the 100 block of Sherwood Drive is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
