An out of town company has purchased the 0ceanview Apartments in Santa Cruz. The 104 unit complex on Columbia street two blocks from West Cliff Drive and the pacific ocean has been purchased by acclaim Companies in Menlo Park for over $40 million dollars. The purchase has increased the rents. A one bedroom apartment rents from up to $2,895.00 a month. A two bedroom apartment up to $3,895.00. The Oceanview is one of five apartments buildings sold this year in the county.
