(11:55) Seaside – The Monterey Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics Team announced that they have opened up 2 Cold Cases from 2014. 35 year-old Khalik Kennedy, of Seaside, was shot and killed while walking to his parked car in April. Three months later, 28 year-old Andre Jacob was stabbed to death on the city’s street. The cases have similar circumstances where the victims were both on foot. Officers are investigating these two cases individually and together. Anyone with any information on either is case is encouraged to contact authorities.
