(15:36) SANTA CRUZ- Dredging of the Santa Cruz harbor’s northern section has been halted for the season. The Port District has announced that it has been granted a dredging permit extension for the harbor entrance. The extension was granted to allow for the excessive sand build ups due to winter storms. The permit will now allow dredging of the entrance until May 12th. Normal dredging will resume again in October.
