(07:30) Marina – A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday for a new sixteen unit facility for homeless vets and their families. The Veteran Transition Center of Monterey held the event at Hayes Circle in Marina. According to official records the VTC has housed 143 homeless individuals in the last year and has treated almost 15,000 veterans over the past 20 years.
