An archeological site in pacific grove is set to be covered back up…..maybe even as early as this week. The site, which was initially discovered in the 1930’s, is at Lovers Point…and was re-exposed in the winter storms. A local archeologist has recommended that the city cover the scattered abalone shells (that date back to when Native Americans inhabited the area) with decomposed granite to protect the site.
