A memorial service, for a man who died of hypothermia in Santa Cruz, is scheduled to take place at Santa Cruz City Hall this evening. 53 year-old Michael Mears’ body temperature was only 70 degrees, when he was found unconscious on Portrero Street in Santa Cruz. The service for Mears is slated to begin at 5:30 this evening, at 809 center street.
