A 3-Alarm fire in Salinas last month, that damaged a building in Chinatown, has been determined to have been started accidentally. The building (known as the Swinging Door), was not insured at the time, and suffered about $325,000 worth of damage. Anyone with information about the March 18th fire, is encouraged to contact the Salinas Fire Department.
