A special event will be taking place at some animal shelters this weekend. The Northern California “Empty The Shelter” event is slated to be held from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. this Saturday at dozens of shelters including the SPCA for Monterey County, which is located across Highway 68 from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. During the event, the Bissell Pet Foundation will pay all adoption fees at many shelters and rescue organizations.
