(08:00) Santa Cruz – The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office received the 2016 County Gold Recognition Award yesterday. The Sheriff’s Office is being recognized for implementing 21st Century Policing. Sheriff’s say that the transition has greatly improved their relationships with the communities they serve. The award was presented at the Santa Cruz County Board Of Supervisors Chambers.
