The toxic shellfish advisory, that was issued for the Monterey Bay in December, has been lifted. Back in December, consumers were warned not to eat recreationally caught bivalve shellfish , due to dangerous levels of Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning. The advisory has been lifted for this area, but is still in effect for Humboldt, Mendocino, and Del Norte counties.
