New centennial trees have been planted by the Friends Of The Carmel Forest….and they’re getting ready to start a new tree program too. Due to drought and storms, more than 2,000 trees have been lost in Carmel over the past few years. The new Commemorative Tree Program allows people to donate money to have one of 3 types of tree planted (and named) for a loved one, a business, or an event.
