A couple of hikers, who went missing over the weekend, were found safe and sound. The well-prepared hikers had done everything right, from filing a planned route and leaving pictures of themselves and their truck, to having extra supplies in their vehicle……but their truck slid off a dirt road about 4 miles into the Clear Creek Management Area in San Benito county. Because of the information that had been filed, the Search And Rescue Team was able to find the unharmed couple. Hikers are encouraged to always be prepared for a ‘worst case scenario’.
