One lane of Highway 17 southbound is now open through Scotts Valley. Traffic is being escorted from Bear Creek Road to Sugarloaf Road, to funnel drivers down to one lane. The Northbound lanes of Highway 17 at Vine Hill Road are expected to remain closed for at least another day (due to a large mud, dirt and rock slide on the northbound side).
