(09:15) Central Coast – The California State Park professionals are offering 6 backpacking trips from April through September 2017.  The backpacking trips are available for every experience level.  Backpackers will explore ridgelines, old growth redwood forests, and sandy shores.  Participation is open to adults 18 or over and children ages 13 to 17 accompanied by a parent or guardian.   Registration opens today (Wednesday).   For more information, please visit www.parks.ca.gov/backpacking or call (831) 291-8273.
