(09:30) Santa Cruz – After several weeks of storms, a group of volunteers have resumed their efforts to clean up the San Lorenzo River Levee in Santa Cruz. The volunteer group, known as the “Leveelies”, meet every saturday morning in effort to keep the area along the river clean. Due to the shooting last August and the recent storms, the group took a break. This last weekend the Levelees joined together once again to clean up trash and restore vegetation along the river. The organizers of the Leveeles group, said they will officially resume their volunteer activities in March
