The trial, for the man accused of kidnapping (and killing) Morgan Hill teenager Sierra Lamar, is scheduled to begin this week. If convicted on all of the charges against him, Antolin Garcia-Torres faces the Death Penalty. If, on the other hand, the jury acquits Garcia-Torres, lawyers will not be able to try him for murder…even if new evidence is uncovered.
