The names of the 2 people, who were shot and killed in Salinas last Thursday night, have been released. 25 year-old Alejandro Ramirez and 27 year-old Jose Luis Flores-Vargas were killed in the shooting in which 2 others were injured. The 4 were outside a family gathering on the 500 block of Sunrise Street when they were shot. Anyone with information about this fatal shooting is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department. The 3 people initially detained, have since been released.
