Fire restrictions have been lifted in the Los Padres National Forest. That’s because officials say there’s been enough rain to once again allow campfires and charcoal barbecues..…preferably in a designated campfire site. Prohibitions on smoking and target shooting in the national forest have also been lifted. Spark arresters are still required on all off-highway vehicles, chainsaws, and other internal combustion engines…..and tracer ammunition and fireworks are prohibited at all times.
