The last of the Tanimura brother’s (that helped create local grower-shipper Tanimura & Antle back in 1982) has died. Tom Tadashi Tanimura, better known as “Tommy”, passed away in his sleep recently at the age of 88. Tommy is survived by his wife, and her 3 children, as well as 2 of his brothers’ widows, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held tomorrow evening from 3 ‘til 7 p.m. at Struve And Laporte Chapel in Salinas, and the funeral service for him will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the Buddhist Temple Of Salinas.
