(11:59) PRUNEDALE- A man was hospitalized with severe burns in Prunedale on Saturday. Shortly after 9 a.m. emergency crews responded to a report of an individual on fire on Reese Circle. Apparently the victim had run out of gas and was adding fuel to his van while smoking a cigarette when his clothes caught fire. A passerby helped extinguish the flaming clothing. The van and a vehicle in a used car lot were destroyed. The victim was airlifted to a trauma center.
