(15:00) Santa Cruz –
A power outage in Santa Cruz County affected over 5,000 P G & E customers today (Wedensday). The areas affected were mostly in downtown Santa Cruz and parts of Live Oak. The first report of the power outage was at 1:00 p.m. P G & E were able to restore power to 4,000 customers within a half hour and all power is expected to be restored by 4:45 today. P G & E is currently investigating the cause of the power outage.
