3 people, who were connected with a boat that landed at Ano Nuevo State Beach Sunday, were detained in connection with a suspected drug smuggling scheme. The Coast Guard had been tracking the boat before it landed……and San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies And ICE Officers met and detained the people at the landing site. The investigation of this case is ongoing.
