PACIFIC GROVE – November through February is Monarch Butterfly season in Pacific Grove. As of the count last Saturday, there are more than 1700 of the iconic butterflies in residence at the Sanctuary there this year. Although the numbers are higher than last year, butterfly lovers are concerned about continued loss of habitat.
