(10:00) WATSONVILLE- A Watsonville pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a car on Saturday. The accident took place at 7:53 p.m. at the intersection of East Lake and Wagner Avenues. The incident was initially reported as a fatality; however the victim did survive and was treated at a local hospital before being flown to a trauma center. The driver remained at the scene. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
