SALINAS – The name of the 24 year-old man, who was shot and killed last week in Salinas, has been released. Giovanni Vargas was shot while he was working on his car in the 2-thousand block of Santa Rita Street. Anyone who witnessed the early November 2nd shooting, is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
