(12:30) SANTA CRUZ- First responders were dispatched to reports of a man in distress in the waters near Lighthouse Point in Santa Cruz on Saturday. At least five agencies, including rescue swimmers and a Coast Guard helicopter responded to the 3:10 p.m. 9-1-1 call. Rescue crews were unable to locate the victim by 7:30 p.m. and the search was called off until Sunday morning. The missing person has been identified; however the name is being withheld pending notification of family.
