(11:29) SANTA CRUZ- A man sustained critical injuries after falling from train trestle near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk early Saturday. Shortly before 2 a.m. a man described as inebriated was pulled from the San Lorenzo River by Boardwalk security officers. The victim suffered a head injury in the fall. The officers administered C-P-R until medical personnel arrived on scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital.
