August 4, 2016: Calif Zika Birth Defects

(19:30) CALIF- The California Department of Public Health announced, yesterday (Thursday)  that two babies have born with Zika-related microcephaly in California. The mothers of the newborns were infected while traveling in countries where the disease was endemic. According to the CDPH in California, 114 people were infected with the virus, including 21 pregnant women. All cases are travel-related. California now joins New York, New Jersey and Florida as states with babys born with a Zika-related birth defects.
