(19:30) MONTEREY – The chairman and C-E-O of the Cannery Row Company, Ted Balestreri, has been appointed to the Travel And Tourism Advisory Board. The T-T-A-B advises the U.S. Secretary Of Commerce on matters related to the travel and tourism industry around the U.S. Balestreri has also served as commissioner of the California Travel And Tourism Commission between 1985 and 2007. Travel and tourism is the 2nd largest industry in Monterey county, with agriculture being the top money maker for the county.
