(18:02) SANTA CRUZ- A Santa Cruz duplex fire displaced a resident on Wednesday. Shortly after 11 p.m., fire crews responded to the 500 block of Center Street to find the resident outside and smoke coming from the kitchen. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the kitchen, the adjoining unit was undamaged. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
