(10:17) WATSONVILLE- Authorities are investigating a shooting that took place in Watsonville on Friday. Shortly after 5 p.m. police responded to a reported shooting at the intersection of Freedom Boulevard and Brennan Street. A preliminary investigation determined that for or five shots were fired from a tan vehicle at a lone male. The intended victim fled the area, it is unkown if he sustained any injuries. A nearby car, fence, and tree were struck by gunfire. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Watsonville police.
