(21:30) SOQUEL OVERPASS – A man, who had climbed over the rail on the Soquel overpass of Highway 1 this evening, was convinced to climb back to the safe side. The incident was called in shortly after 8:30 p.m., and some witnesses, as well as an off-duty Santa Cruz Police officer, were able to assist the on-duty Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputy (who responded to the call).
