(17:43) MONTEREY COUNTY – 2 men were arrested on charges of D-U-I over the weekend in Monterey county. The first was a driver who’s blood alcohol was more than twice the legal limit after he crashed his truck on river road near Chualar on Sunday. The 2nd man, 45 year-old Felipe Franco, was arrested in Salinas after the van he was driving struck a pedestrian on Bardin Road. The 61 year-old victim was transported to a trauma center where he was listed in critical condition. Franco was booked into Monterey County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and felony hit-and-run.
