(06:20) SALINAS – Police have identified a man who was fatally shot in Salinas over the weekend. The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. Sunday on the 300 block of Block Avenue. Responding officers found 21-year-old Mario Puga with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers say Puga was working on his car when he was shot by a Hispanic man, who then fled the scene in a mid-sized SUV. The investigation is ongoing. (S.G.)
