(06:57) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Salinas man has been sentenced for battering his girlfriend. In September 2014, 28-year-old Antonio Rios was arrested at his home after beating and choking the victim. A search of his residence recovered a shotgun and ammunition. Rios was charged with battery as well as being a felon in possession of guns. He was sentenced this week to five years and eight months in prison. (S.G.)
