(17:46) BONNY DOON – 2 people were injured this morning when a car hit a metro bus head-on in Bonny Doon. Cal-Fire firefighters extricated the 42 year-old Santa Cruz driver with the Jaws Of Life, and he was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. A passenger in the Metro bus suffered minor injuries in the 8:30 a.m. accident that occurred at the intersection of Empire and Ice Cream Grade roads.
