(12:42) SALINAS- Salinas police are investigating an armed robbery. The incident took place shortly before 11 p.m. on Friday when a man entered a Pizza Hut on the 1300 block of North Main Street. The subject then produced a handgun and a hatchet and demanded money, and made off with an undetermined amount of cash. The robber is described as a clean shaven Latino, in his early 20’s, 5 foot 8 to 10 inches tall, wearing a dark hoodie and jeans. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Salinas police.
