(07:28) SANTA CRUZ – UC Santa Cruz officials have announced that they are relocating its Silicon Valley profession masters programs to a new campus in Santa Clara. The academic building on Bowers Avenue will house Silicon Valley-facing research programs and educational and research partnerships with other UCs and regional universities. The facility will also be home to UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, which offers UC-approved courses that reflect the latest tools and technologies. The move has been made in an effort to create greater collaborations among faculty, students, industry, and government. (S.G.)
