(17:54) SALINAS – The trial for a Salinas City Councilman is now scheduled to begin in August. Jose Castaneda faces 3 felony charges in connection with an incident with his ex-girlfriend. The charges include Domestic Battery and Stalking. Castaneda’s trials is scheduled to begin August 22nd, although there are also 2 pre-trial dates of May 3rd and August 16th.
