(07:24) CAPITOLA – A San Francisco man was arrested in Capitola on weapons charges over the weekend. Police were patrolling the 3700 block of Brommer Street Sunday afternoon when they drove past a Lexus sedan occupied by 37-year-old Shannon Trottar Scott. A strong odor of marijuana was coming from inside the vehicle when officers contacted Scott. A search of the vehicle recovered a drug pipe, an unregistered gun and ammunition. Scott was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
