(19:30) MONTEREY BAY- The ban on consumption of Dungeness crab has been lifted. Yesterday (Thurs) The Department of Health reported that domoic acid levels have dropped to undetectable levels. The ban has been in effect since November. Consumers are advised to remove the intestines and to boil or steam the crabs. Commercial fishing of Dungeness crab remains banned at this time.
