(17:27) SANTA CRUZ- Santa Cruz Police have arrested two suspects following a shooting that took place on Wednesday. Authorities say that at about 10:30 p.m. a 20 year old male was shot in the arm, near Berry and Avalon Streets. The victim was transported to a trauma center. An occupied residence was also struck by gunfire. Investigators determined the identity of two suspects, and at 3 a.m. yesterday (Thurs) 20 year Miseal Acosta Vences and 22 year old Jocelyn Acosta where taken into custody on the 200 block of Button Street. Both were booked into jail on attempted murder charges.
