(16:14) MONTEREY COUNTY – A man, who was arrested earlier this month, now faces more charges. Jeffrey Rutt, who was arrested after leading law enforcement on a high speed chase in Monterey County, is expected to be charged with 16 felonies and 7 misdemeanors. Because he had violated probation, authorities searched his home. When they did that, they found a number of stolen items and other contraband. The new charges are all related to burglary, theft, possession of stolen property, narcotics, dangerous fireworks, and violation of probation.
