(07:06) SCOTTS VALLEY – A card skimming device was found at a gas station in Scotts Valley this week. “Skimmers” are tools used by identity thieves that record information from credit and debit cards when they are swiped. A technician discovered one of these devices inside a gas pump at a service station on Mount Hermon Road. The public is being advised to check their credit card and bank statements if they have recently purchased gas on Mount Hermon Road. Anyone with information is to contact Scotts Valley police.
